As you’ll have seen from our recent blog posts, spring is a very busy time for the team here at Unistage. The latest event we’ve been exhibiting at is The Education Show 2015, at Birmingham’s NEC.
The three-day event is packed full of free seminars and training and is designed to inspire and promote knowledge share amongst education professionals. It’s an excellent opportunity to network with the very best in the community.

Unistage were one of the many exhibitors with a stand on the main floor. We were showcasing our wide range of simple staging solutions, which make things like performances and assemblies at school easy.
Our solutions are suited to every age group – with a number of uses in primary schools, right through to secondary schools and higher education establishments.
One of thing things we were keen to demonstrate at the show was the versatility and ease of use of our staging solutions. Being modular, the stages are simple to assemble, stack and store and can be put together for a wide range of uses.
Our clients typically use our modular staging for musical performances, theatrical performances, presentations and even graduation ceremonies.
The beauty of the staging is that you can just add more to give you the staging space you need.
We were also keen to showcase all the additional products we stock, perfect for adding the finishing touches to those all-important performances.
Our stage scenery and drapes are simple and easy ways to add a professional touch to a performance. What’s more, our stage scenery is customisable – meaning children can use their creative flair to paint appropriate backdrops for their shows.

When we weren’t talking about our products, we were taking advantage of the many fantastic seminars at The Education Show.
The Central Feature, concentrated on teaching innovatively to improve literacy and numeracy skills across all subjects.
Technology was also a major focus at this year’s event. The Tablet Academy was on hand to provide teachers with free, hands on advice.
And in the School Leaders Summit, dedicated for individuals with a leadership role in a school, there were talks on using technology to improve educational outcomes – a strong theme featuring in many of the educational events we’ve attended this year.
